Our stay at Freshe Vue was absolutely breathtaking. The setting is quiet, peaceful, and beautifully maintained — the perfect place to unplug and relax. We had a group of 10 (4 adults and 6 teens), and there was more than enough room for everyone to spread out and enjoy their own space. The cottage was spotless and thoughtfully prepared, with so many special touches that made us feel right at home. From the welcome gifts of s’mores ingredients, a fresh pineapple, and a bottle of wine, to the well-stocked kitchen and cozy outdoor spaces — everything was incredibly well done. We fished, had bonfires, played games, and just soaked in the stunning views. Chara, our host, was gracious and accommodating in every way. Her attention to detail and warm hospitality truly elevated the experience. We absolutely loved our time here and are already hoping to come back someday. Highly recommended!
When we walked in we were immediately blown away with how beautiful the home is, the view is absolutely breathtaking and the entire property/home/experience is 12/10. Chara is the most incredible and thoughtful host, right down to kind gifts and every little detail one could want. The home is very clean and organized and we had one of the best weekends I’ve had in a long time staying here. :) Thank you Chara!
Wow, wow, wow! This place is absolutely breathtaking. The lake house is new, clean, spacious, and the views are unbelievable. Yoga in the mornings on the deck overlooking the lake and a glass of wine in the evenings makes for the most perfect day. Easy fishing right from the shore as well. The hot tub is perfect with the gorgeous lake view. This is truly an all season getaway. The host, Chara is incredibly kind and responsive. She has thought of everything as there are extra toothbrushes, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, lotion, anything you may have forgotten, Chara has thought of! Very kid friendly as well! Once the landscaping is complete, the place will be even more amazing. Highly, highly recommend!
What an amazing space to celebrate Christmas 2020!! This little getaway was perfect for our family. It was welcoming, cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the many amenities - skating, tobogganing, skiing, and hiking - and then ending with a soak in the hottub, enjoying the great views of the lake! The Christmas decor was the perfect touch to make this a truly memorable experience for our kids that we will cherish forever. Thanks for going above and beyond to ensuring our time here was an amazing one!!
Enjoyed a beautiful week at Freshevue. The property is beautiful and comes with a gorgeous view. Lots of space for a family of 12. The beds are comfy and the hot tub was great. Our host Chara was very helpful in every way. She was eager to please and was easy to get a hold of. I would recommend this beautiful cottage for a family gathering.
a perfect stay for our family this Christmas season. beautiful location overlooking the lake. cozy house & decorated for Christmas. it was very clean & the host was excellent with answering our questions & making sure our stay was enjoyable. each of us 5 couples had our own bedroom with a queen bed and the kids room with bunk beds was big & perfect for them. the hottub was also lovely & well used especially because of the bitter cold sk winter days we had during our stay.
Dec 7-10, 2025 Thank you so much Chara for sharing your beautiful home to my family for our Christmas getaway. The large Christmas tree looked amazing as did the decor. It was exactly what we needed to relax and spend time together. The stunning snowy view made you want to warm up in the hot tub. There was so much room for the kids to play, everyone had a bedroom to themselves which also made it easier for kids to nap. The huge table accommodated all of us to sit together for our meals and play cards/games without being crowded. Your home has everything and more to offer; from dishes, small appliances, stocked pantry, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc. Don't worry if you forget to pack something, Chara has you covered! We had a great time at your beautiful home. We were impressed with the cleanliness and loved all the unique decor. The hot tub and fire pit were an awesome bonus for relaxing times. The views are amazing. The location is great as you can go ice fishing, skiing, walking and we visited the Hansen-Ross House in Fort QuAppelle which has a great selection of local artists wares. Would definitely book again. Chara is a great host.
